Institute for Higher Education Innovation (IHEI, click) at Yonsei University aims to nurture future talents who actively tackle and resolve issues by supporting courses (curricular) and student projects (extracurricular) achieving social innovation.

Social Innovation Competency Courses (Curricular)
IHEI encourages professors(researchers) to design courses that can bridge the gap among concepts, theories, and real-world problems. Every semester, IHEI has been assessing the results of running these courses, based on

1. Number of courses
2. Methodology (e.g. debates, problem-solving projects, experiments)
3. Feedbacks from students

Workstations (Extracurricular)
"Workstation" refers to a student-led proejct which deals with resolving issues defined by each team. IHEI recently has conducted research with various organizations on how these programs by Yonsei University can impact Korean society. According to these results, IHEI tries to track how student activities accumulated by years can make significant changes.
