[THE Impact Rankings] 12.2.7 Disposable Policy: Extensions to Services, 12.2.8 Minimisation Policies Extended to Suppliers

Yonsei University is committed to enhancing its sustainability efforts by implementing supply chain policies that align with disposable item regulations and work to minimize single-use plastic waste. As part of this initiative, we encourage our outsourcing partners to adopt eco-friendly and recyclable materials in their operations. By promoting environmentally responsible practices across our supply chain, we aim to reduce the use of disposable items and plastic waste, contributing to a more sustainable environment.

At the Co-op Goods stores on campus, one of our partners, they actively promote the use of multi-use containers, encouraging customers to avoid disposable plastic containers. By offering discounts for reusable containers, they aim to significantly reduce single-use plastic waste and inspire sustainable habits among our students, faculty, and staff.
