GEEF 2021, as the cornerstone for fulfilling the mission and vision of Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), is organized under the theme of “3Ps(Peace, Prosperityand Partnership) Beyond Security,” focusing on the need for facilitating global partnerships, multilatealism and sustainable development.

[Lectures for All (LearnUS)] [SDGs] Sustainable Development in the 21st Century with Ban Ki-moon
The course is designed for people that want to learn about the latest development agenda the international community agreed to achieve by 2030. Structured around the five pillars of Agenda 2030 – people, prosperity, planet, peace and justice, and partnership, students will learn that these pillars are interconnected and need to be integrated in practical policy-making and operational activities for development, in both developed and developing country settings.Following an introductory module on the main concepts of Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, successive modules will provide the foundation behind the SDGs for people, prosperity and planet, peace and partnership. A final module will explore the way forward and provide channels that the young generation can participate to integrate the SDGs in the policy-making of the students’ resident countries.To get a better idea of our course, we welcome you to take a look at our promotional video:

Yonsei University’s sharing of Korea’s COVID-10 related knowledge and experiences through E-GEEF Series
To resolve the global issue, COVID-19, Yonsei University Medical Center, the Global Social Contribution Institute, and the Graduate School of Health held the "E-GEEF Series" in collaboration with international organizations.Based on the accuracy and reliability of Korea’s health care sector, the E-GEEF Series is being conducted in the form of webinars using Cisco's WebEx for countries in need of medical and policy advice.The first event was held at the request of the Ministry of Health of the Colombian Republic of South America on March 31, 2020, with the webinar (Web+Seminar) under the theme of "Video Conference for Republic of Columbia's Health Care Sector."Since then, at the request of the World Bank Group, Yonsei University hosted webinars with SaluDerecho Initiative (i.e., the Health care cooperation network of 9 Latin American countries) to share South Korea's experience in combating COVID-19, which definitely contribute to achieving SDG 17 and the goal 'Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development'.
Yonsei University participated in the global program "C4CV" to respond to COVID-19
Yonsei University's Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning has signed a C4CV agreement in 2020 to provide better educational opportunities amid the COVID-19 crisis, and courses opened by Yonsei University will also be provided free of charge to Coursera member universities around the world. Yonsei University will promote innovation in the online education paradigm through continuous cooperation and partnership with various stakeholders globally.
